Support Visitation

The children of Visitation B.V.M. Catholic School are the hope for the future. Our academic program is designed to meet the needs and demands of 21st century students. The generous support of our benefactors is a tremendous asset to our school. There are several options through which support can be provided. 

1. Amazon Smile - If you shop on-line at Amazon, please designate our school as your charity through Amazon Smile and we will receive a percentage of your purchase. Log on to smile.amazon.com and search for Visitation Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Norristown (our tax id is connected to the church) and click register. 2. Visitation B.V.M School Annual Fund - The Annual Fund is a critical component of the Visitation BVM School operating budget that supports the financial shortall between tuition and the actual cost of educating a student.  All Catholic and private schools across the nation operate annually knowing this shortfall (or gap) exists and implement a fundraising initiative - The Annual Fund Drive - to help close this gap. 3. Visitation Alumni School Support Fund - Please help us keep our students, faculty and staff safe and connected as we return to school during this pandemic! The school needs our support to upgrade technology infrastructure, support virtual learning and various touchless upgrades at Visitation. Click here to donate.
4. Sponsor a Student - This program allows friends of Visitation B.V.M. to directly assist those students who desire a Catholic Education at Visitation B.V.M. Catholic School, but need financial assistance.  You can donate a full or partial tuition scholarship. Your contribution can be made monthly, quarterly, or in full. 5. EITC Program - For corporations or businesses authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, they may contribute under the Pennsylvania Educational Tax Credit Program (EITC). Contributions of any amount up to a maximum of $300,000 per taxable year can earn tax credits equal to 75% to 90% of the amount donated. To learn more about EITC, click here.
6. Matching Gifts Program - Many companies encourage their employees to support a favorite charity, while providing a matching gift. Funds received through these programs provide a direct benefit to the students at Visitation B.V.M. School. Check with your employer to see if they offer a Matching Gift Program.  
7. Christine Gassen Memorial Scholarship Fund - The Home & School Association (HASA) is managing a scholarship fund in memory of Christine Gassen, our former first-grade teacher who passed away in March 2011.  If you would like more information on donating to this endowment, please contact the Home & School Association at hands@visitationbvmschool.org. 
8. Word of Mouth - Tell your friends about Visitation!  Word of mouth is one of the most effective ways to advertise the school, and each family has a unique story to share about what Visitation has done for their child(ren).  Recommend Visitation to your friends and family and suggest they look at our website and request a tour!
