2023 Visitation BVM School Food Drive - Begins Wednesday, March 15th

Thank you to our Student Council for our third year of tournament style games. This will be a friendly competition between homerooms. This food drive, benefiting our neighbors at The Patrician Society and Martha’s Choice Marketplace, begins Wednesday, March 15, 2023. 
Students can begin bringing in food donations to their homerooms  on Wednesday, 3/15 through Monday 4/3. Last year, Visitation BVM School collected close to 15,000 pantry items!!  If you have extra reusable shopping bags, please send them along with your donations. The bags help with packing and transporting. Thank you for anything you are able to do to help our neighbors in need!
 

The match-ups to fill in the bracket were chosen randomly and announced to the students on Friday, March 10, 2023. The competition and the first round of the tournament begins on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. At the end of each week, the homeroom with the most cans in each grouping will advance to the next round. All other homerooms move to the consolation challenge.  The challenges continue in each bracket until our champion homerooms have been determined. 

 

There will be prizes awarded to the winning homeroom in both the Original Bracket challenge and in the Consolation challenge position. 

 

Please note that the total number of items for each homeroom will not reset as the homerooms move through the rounds.
