Our School Year

The time in the beginning of the school year is used for getting acquainted with the school as well as with each other.  Preparation of Kindergarten is a priority, and each child will receive individual attention in developing the necessary fine and gross motor skills.

We have social gatherings at Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and closing exercises in June.  We use these social gatherings as times when the children perform poems and songs they have learned for each holiday.  Parents and family members are encouraged to attend these social functions.  We take walking trips around the school and church premises.  Our field trip to the Zoo and Nature Center is during the Spring.  We celebrate the conclusion of the school year with closing exercises in June.
