Uniform Requirements are specified in the Parent/Student Handbook. Click here to read the policy. In addition, Visitation BVM School houses a Uniform Exchange Room.
Visitation BVM School’s Uniform Room is a way to reuse and recycle your Visitation BVM uniforms. It is also a way to save you money. It’s free and easy. All uniforms that are in good shape (clean and not stained) may be donated to the room. Any family may choose items to take from the exchange. You do not need to contribute items to the exchange in order to take items for your family.
The Uniform Room is located just off the main lobby. This room will be open during the school day and on weekends when the school is open for other activities. Don’t hesitate to “shop” for extra items you may need now or in the future. As always, there is no charge.
Below are a couple reminders regarding the clothing in the room:
Please keep the room clean. As you are looking through clothes, please put items back in the correct place.
If you are donating uniforms, please check the items for holes, stains, etc. Anything dropped off that is stained, has holes, or is too worn will just be thrown out. If you have taken clothes from the exchange before, please do not feel you have to return them. Sometimes, it is just time to throw it out.
No pants will be stored in the uniform room this year. Any pants left in the room at the beginning of school will be given away. The pants are not recycled in a timely manner and just pile up.
If it is not a Visitation BVM uniform item, please do not leave it in this room (e.g. blue sweatpants with no logo, sports uniforms, etc).
Please feel free to call Marion Evangelist at 610-630-1552 if you have questions.
