Transporting Textbooks

For absent students:
 

Visitation BVM School teachers will not send textbooks home with siblings, neighbors, or classmates for absent students.  Parents of the absent students may make arrangements to pick up textbooks at the Main Office if they feel these books are essential while the student is ill.  The teachers will send copybooks or workbooks with the assignments via siblings or assigned classmates.  This policy supports our efforts to not send large quantities of textbooks home at any time.

For all students:
 
We do make every effort to limit the number of textbooks students must transport on any given night to two or fewer. 
Parents who are requesting that their sons/daughters bring home all books on a given night should send a note to the homeroom teacher that it is their parental request that their child carry home all the books in his/her desk.
