Welcome to Visitation BVM Elementary School
The Implementation Team put in place to make decisions about the combined Visitation BVM & St. Teresa of Avila school began meeting on January 17, 2012. To read communications and memoranda related to their work and the regionalization process, click here.
As we work together to join our school communities, Our Lady of the Visitation, Pray for us, St. Teresa of Avila, Pray for us.
Some upcoming dates to remember:
- Saturday, January 28 - Friday, February 3 - Catholic Schools Week 2012 - "Faith, Academics, Service" (click on "Catholic Schools Week 2012" above to see a list of activities)
- Tuesday, January 31 - Regular School Day -- This day was originally a day off for students but has been reinstated.
- Wednesday, February 1 - Spirit Day for students, Early Dismissal 12:30 PM, Faculty/Staff Appreciation Lunch. Methacton School District students must be picked up at 12:30 PM.
- Friday, February 24 - Mom's Night Out Fundraiser - Country & Western Hoedown! Vera Bradley Bingo & more (click here for more flyer)

Consider giving your child(ren) the gift of a Catholic School education. If you are new to the Visitation BVM community and would like to register your child(ren) for next year, please call the office at 610-539-6080 and make an appointment. We would love to welcome your child to our school.

- Standardized test scores consistently and significantly above the national average across all grades.
- Honors Math program for grades 4 through 8 consistent with Archdiocesan program.
- School daycare available through C.A.R.E.S. (Children Are Receiving Extended Service).
- All classrooms equipped with wireless computer access, 4 laptop carts for use throughout the school, and desktop computers in every classroom.
- SmartBoards installed in every classroom.
- State of the Art Technology Lab, Library/Media Center, and Art Studio.
- Science Laboratory and Greenhouse.
- 34 classrooms serving Pre-school through 8th graders.
- Weekly Physical Education, Computer, Library science and Music classes for all grades Pre-School through 8th. Additional instruction in Art, instrumental instruction, and foreign language.
- Part-time Reading Specialist, Speech Therapist, and Guidance counselor (provided through the county intermediate unit).
- Hot Lunch Program with two entrees available daily.
- Active Home and School Association.
- Multi-purpose gymnasium/cafeteria/auditorium.
- Playground for younger grades.
- Mutli-purpose field for football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey, baseball and softball diamonds to accompany very extensive sports offerings through CYO.

There are many vacancies that we need to fill -- please look at your child(ren)'s grade schedule and help us fill them throughout the year. Thank you!
